Walk 4 from Coastal walks round Anglesey volume 2 by Carl Rogers.
Today we couldn't make our minds what to do so we thought we would go to Moelfre and see if Tony and Mary were at Lligwy. We packed up a lunch and off we went, the traffic wasn't as bad as we had expected and we were there in half an hour. We parked on the public car park at Moelfre before setting off. En route we passed the quarry then visited the Burial Chamber at Lligwy, Then the Church, Hen Capel and Din Lligwy the old Roman settlement. After this we headed to the beach, we had already texted Mary, the reply came back, 'not here' as they had gone home, anyway we were there and had a picnic by the beach and an ice cream. This eaten and us rested we headed on the coastal path to Moelfre where they are busy building a new lifeboat station. We had a pint and a cider in the Kinmel Arms and then headed off for home.
