In the hills above Llyn Dinas four and a half miles

Another clear crisp day so off to Beddgelert we go, we located our parking near Llyn Dinas and off we went. Not a long walk but the paths left a lot to be desired, we set off round the end of the lake and after a while took a stile to the right up through trees, the walk notes we had left a lot to the imagination but we eventually found our way to Hafod Owen the furthest out that we were going, a charming cottage dated 1806, with no roads to it. From here we made our way to Coed Llewelyn a small plantation of trees, now we were as high as we were going, making our way down to a visible track we were now on easier walking soon picking up a down hill lane. This brought us to Llindy Isaf, here we walked through the farmyard and picked up a path  by Llyn Dinas soon joining our outward path and our way back to the car. A good walk completed.
