Six mile circular walk Oakmere to Pale Heights.

A mixed weather warning so we went before lunch, left home along the road towards Kelsall, at Gresty's Waste we took the path on the right into the forest for a few hundred yards then took the path on the right making our way up to Pale Heights. Here we took in theviews all round though Liverpool was only just visible. Then we moved down to the new monument where we made use of one of the memorial bench's and had lunch. Then we proceeded down hill to the visitor centre, very busy and all the overflow carparks were in use, everyone on the Gruffalow trail. From here we followed the path to the station, crossed the road and took the path past the golf club back to Farm Road and home.
