Four miles from Hatchmere round Blakemere Moss and back.

An afternoon wander, we parked at the car park opposite the Carriers Inn at Hatchmere, been closed for years now so parked in the gate. We set off towards the Forest and turned Right down the switchback, shortly after the forest starts we  took the path on the left, a little up and down and before we new it we had the Moss on our right. We decided to go all the way round so off we went, a few people about but not many. There were a lot of trees down from felling and not left in a good state. Soon we were round at the far end and needed assistance from the gizmo to pick the right path, a few left and right turns and we were back at the Forest car park at Barnes Bridge Gate. Here we crossed the road and headed off down the Sandstone Trail for a while before taking a right, more use of the gizmo and we were soon back at the road, a left turn and we were back at the car. Two hours pleasant walking.
